My best guess is a minimum 2yrs before OnSemi ship a chip to a customer. They might be able to shave a few months off because OnSemi design their on chips.

1/ WBT have to transfer the tech to OnSemi
2/ OnSemi has to design the chip
    3/ Fabricate it
    4/ Do extensive testing
5/ Refabricate if faults are found (repeat if further faults are found)
6/ Recalibrate a production line to produce in commercial quantities and order materials etc (assuming customers are lined up)

    It all takes time.

IMO, GF is probably WBT's best bet for first commercial sales

I'm no expert so I'm happy to be shot down
