Certainly the drop in the SP of Nvidia is massive by anyone's standards, but strangely the Dow Jones didn't drop overnight. In fact it closed up by nearly 300 points. The Nasdaq futures appear to be pointing up right now, so overnight the US tech stocks will probably bounce back. Personally, I don't understand why the appearance of a chinese based AI model causes US tech investors to shit their beds. Surely it shows that the whole AI space is hotting up as some competition appears ? That has to be good for WBT in the long term as a key supplier of memory hardware for AI. It's the usual case that ASX tech stocks get hammered after US tech stocks drop, but there's no fundamental reason why this should occur. Nothing has changed at WBT overnight. Anyway, I'm looking forward to our next quarterly report that should be released this Friday.
