I’ve come to realise that a lot of the so-called analysts who post daily about Weebit’s share price movements—like the one preceeding this—don’t actually understand what the company is building. If you take the share price out of the equation (which, let’s be honest, the company has ZERO control over), it’s clear to anyone paying attention that Weebit is making solid, meaningful progress.

The problem is, too many people are stuck looking at the short term. What they miss is that Weebit is still laying the groundwork for what could be decades of success. Personally, I’ve stopped worrying about the day-to-day price movements. In fact, I’m more confident now than I’ve ever been.

Management has tied their own pay to actual commercial results. If that’s not a show of confidence in where things are headed, I don’t know what is. They’re also some of the biggest shareholders, so it’s in their best interest to make sure this company thrives. Their incentives are directly aligned with ours.

Let’s not forget: Weebit’s tech is genuinely disruptive. The company’s still less than 10 years old. Just a year ago, hardly anyone had heard of ReRAM. Now it’s quickly moving towards becoming an industry standard. It reminds me of a meeting I had in the early 2010s with an engineer and an accountant talking about ‘the cloud’. I had no clue what they were on about. Less than a year later, everyone was talking about it—and relying on it. I think ReRAM is following a similar path.

Buckle up and enjoy the ride. Look at the bigger picture. Weebit’s leadership is doing a great job, and when you build a quality product and run a business well, the money tends to follow. Patience is key here—Rome wasn’t built in a day.
