Talk of a capital raise is being driven imo by holders who offloaded shares yesterday at close to the highs. Having reduced their exposure they now wish for a pullback to reinvest at lower levels. WBT is well funded at the moment and with Coby expecting revenue to commence this year they do not need to raise right now. I can also imagine though that both brokers and institutions are knocking their door down and wanting a raise so they can get their hands on decent volume given it's not available on market.
If Coby does go down that path and raises opportunistically it will be done on good terms for existing holders. That is at market levels or possibly even a premium and it will go to institutional investors looking to hold long term.
The beauty of our much higher MC is that even if we raised 50m that would only be circa 8.5m shares at $6 creating minimal dilution and would not stop our relentless March higher in SH value creation. It would certainly be our last raise as revenue ramps higher in 2024 not too mention that future larger cap ex requirements if they came about would then be able to be debt funded.
Bottom line is don't part with your shares on the possibility of an opportunistic cap raise as it doesn't guarantee a significant pullback in the SP in our circumstances.
