I remember a post a while ago from someone saying that once they stopped thinking about tax and traded regardless they started doing very well. Provided the sale and re entry are sufficient, tax implications disappear.
In my view it is telling that both index cross trades occured at ~$7.6. My expectation is a retrace from that baseline level. How far and how long? Anyone can guess.
Spanner in the works for that theory is that shorters covered pre index inclusion. Very unexpected. Law of averages still says index inclusion will lead to a retrace.
