"They’re a hell of a lot smarter than you or me."
I wouldn't say that they are a hell of a lot smarter than you or me - however I would suggest that they have a hell of a lot more financial backing and institutional support than you or me, thus giving them the ability to dramatically push the price up or down to suit their financial goals. Shorting Is clearly a short-term game that can only be controlled by the big boys. Small traders who are clever enough to follow the moves can get a small slice of the action if they have the competency to follow.
The big Shorter's have filled their boots all the way down, they will eventually go long and fill them up again on the way up, when they decide the time is right. Big money controls this game.
I don't believe Coby and crew are overly concerned by the shorting action - they don't need to CR for a very long time, so the day-to-day SP has no bearing on their focus to commercialize and develop WBT - which they are successfully doing.
As a long-term holder with a decent but modest personal holding, my sights are set way down the track - 2025 and onwards.
Go WBT - Go Long.
