The current decline in the SP is not because of a sudden realization of the MC... It doesn't have any real significance to the SP's movement on announcements.
Also "for any duration"? You only need it to move up for one day... I don't suggest a sign up announcement would prevent the SP from returning here in the future...
But ok, well see, stranger things have happened they could make the announcement and the price stays the same or goes down. I wouldn't think so but almost anything is possible, you can do the 'I told you so' quote post when it goes down on the next sign up.
