Customers won't sign until qualification in my view. Even then a customer needs to target manufacture at a fab that has the required IP for that customer. The three in the running appear to be SkyWater, DB HiTek and Global Foundries. Others under NDA are possible.
Whether this is a good point to invest in WBT depends on the investor's view of the prospects of WBT and its suitability for their own investment plan.
Throwing aspersions or blame at Weebit will not change this basic situation.
