Human beings are not wired to understand the concept of true exponential growth
If you took 30 steps, with each step doubling the distance of the one before it, you would be 1 billion meters away and have walked around the earth 26 times!
Double 10 times, you get around 1000X
Double 20 times around 1 millionX
Double 30 times around 1 billionX
This is why I keep going to the casino and trying to double my money on red and black. Just a few wins in a row would be nice, unfortunately I always seem to walk out losing haha.
How many Xs can we get on WBT? Time will tell…
