A takeover offer would be good. Assume the offer came in at $5. The share price automatically gaps up there. Shorters are already on the back foot. It may take weeks to "negotiate" and the price would probably go up creating more pressure on shorts to close (buy). The offer may then get rejected but it does set a "market price" for the company, at least for a while. At the moment shorters are creating an instability driving prices down. We need instability driving prices up (takeover).
