there is more oil off shore all over the world , but it would be many years before any production and cost a lot to get at especially in deep water as per the north sea oil the poms pump

the canadians have 200 years of oil sands , we have heaps of oil shale , but its high energy and polluting to convert to useable oil , so i dont see the barel price comming down any time soon....not to mention the increased demand for oil world wide

the oil thing will be used as a election issue in the comming us election campaign and should hit a big nerve over there
