ruralco holdings limited.

I just thought I'd share a company that has caught my eye, with anyone who has been bothered to click on my posting.

The company is Ruralco (RHL) and is currently trading at $4.76.

The company is into rural merchandising, real estate, and wool and livestock agency services. It has around 400 members trading across Australia under the Combined Rural Traders, Town & Country, Grow Force Australia and CRT Real Estate banners.

The share price may be trading at close to a premium right now but that has not bothered me greatly as I see fair value in the stock over the medium term.

A special dividend of 25c plus a Final Dividend of 11c (total 36c) goes ex dividend on the 24th of this month and is paid together on the 14th of December and are both fully franked. This is a nice little instant earner.

Recent announcements are an interesting read.

I'd appreciate any views that others have on my latest investment either from onlookers or other holders of RHL.
