Pity the Russian people after centuries of Czars then enduring 70 years of the USSR and Stalin and gulags  then in the 1990's the West was too dumb to push more USSR fragmentation - now after all this time  Russian GDP is near that of Canada - a bloody long road indeed.  Pathetic. What a colossal failure communism has been yet the siren song - you know - from each according dah dah - to each according dah dah - is so loved by the left.
