Some good points there Spara but internally inconsistent??
We have, supposedly, a country which is economically on her knees and has been since the days of the USSR???
So how did they manage to spend so much on the military and can put down roots in eg Syria? Might pay to have a look at the types of weapons developed by the Ruskies.
Forget DPRK - you and I can raise an army of millions. BUT we will get wiped out in a flash in the next war.
The next war will be nothing like we have ever seen before - how much hardware you have floating on the seas and in the air will not count for much. This is where the Chinese (who basically took American tech and improved it) and the Ruskies have taken a march on the US, IMO. The US lost the plot when it became a "colony" of Israel IMO - it will be very hard to go back to the ideals of the Founding Fathers, may they all RIP, now.
Alcohol has been a problem in Russia for, like, forever!! I suspect though this will be overcome in time.
And Spara, keep an eye on India and a few others!
