It seems that more often than not when there is some sort of dispute between 2 countries, agricultural based products are used as leverage to make their point. Australia is no exception! Our dispute with Indonesia regarding spying led to threats to cut Ag imports by that country. Same has happened this time with Russia. Tit for tat threats to cut agricultural products by both countries. I wish politicians would stop treating our farmers as an expendable commodity when they are trying to flex their muscle.
