Your the one without a clue because from the start you've tried to claim that USSR wasn't Russia, insinuating that US didn't defeat Russia they defeated the USSR as if they are two completely different countries which of course they are not.

Russia was the central government and power of the USSR, USSR was just the republic name of all 20 countries, Russia the country then within USSR was still same as Russia today and with Moscow it's capital.

Look at a list of countries within USSR, Russia is obviously at the top of the list. US defeated Russia in the cold war, resulting in the collapse of the republic and all those former soviet countries voting for democracy and to leave Moscow.

Hopefully you finally realise this and your pedantic line of questioning won't need to continue any further.
