I hate SWIFT. Have tried to avoid it for years.

You pay your bank transfer fees and then it comes up short at the other end and people complain. Turns out another international bank grabbed the money for a nanosecond along the way then charged a handling fee. Usually a New York bank of course.

So I ended up regarding SWIFT as, in essence, a slow, corrupted, expensive international payment system that shouldn't be trusted.
