This is what I was saying some time ago. Biggest energy companies managers was alarming about the same thing. EU had more time to fill in the stocks with Russian gas and coal this year plus they had higher stocks as starting point. Now after the winter the stock will be much lower and much harder to fill it up and prepare for the next winter.
Look at the last coal cycle:
Every time we were close to the end of the year (northern semisphere winter) we saw coal price peak...than relief and after few months it was going up again (sometimes even higher). It lasted 2.5 years until the last peak in coal price
