Possibly related to EU ban - apparently China is implementing price controls for (thermal?) coal - 570-770 RMB / t ($US85 - 115). Not sure how this will impact markets outside China. I think it is a stupid idea to meddle with the market, but they must be confident short term, at least until emperor Xi gets another term, and then it can blow up over winter.
