A Russian ‘Winter Offensive’ will be one of the biggest military debacles in history if it goes ahead. It will be a massacre.
But if the offensive starts in February or March - as per one scenario put forward in the article - then by definition that would not be a ‘Winter Offensive’ as those months are in the Ukrainian spring. An article that gets such details wrong is seriously lacking in credibility.
A Russian offensive in February / March will encounter the same problems that hampered the Russian invasion this year….the spring thaw which turns roads and the battlefield into mud.
