Russia would never turn off the gas because they don't want to hurt Europe, they want Europe to be their compliant customer..

Russia doesn't want a missile shield along its western border it has been saying this for decades.. A missile shield can of course be re configured for offence so once again it is the west provoking and stoking

Nato is a joke, Russia would literally crush Ukraine and basically whatever or whoever stands in its way

This is the West's game to lose and war will be massive and horrible disaster .. Winning would be to step back and actually take some of Russia's demands at face value

Russian demands deserve scrutiny and consideration, after all a fairly modest compromise could avert catastrophe

The west should not pick a fight with Russia.. period
