    "Who benefits ?

    Not the Syrians, not Russia.""

oh, I wouldn't put any bets on Russia not benefiting --

Putin is a master at games -- an absolute master.

    Just imagine this ----

Somehow - it is made to 'appear' that Russia is involved in this -

then just for eg. - the idiot in charge of missile launches -- does attack.

Then, it's found that neither the Syrian government, nor Russia had anything to do with it -

with some crafty background work - someone like Putin could arrange that.

Then, - - cream on the cake ---- it's found that Russia had nothing to do with the ex spy and his daughter in England.

Result ----------- you would have to be very brave to stand up and accuse Russia in the future years - because

they were victimized in 'Syria and the UK ex Russian spy thingy.

Just as the US, UK and Australia are a full on embarrassment for the 'coalition of the willing' - so to going in to attack the Syrians if they are wrong would make the US, France and UK etc. the butt of jokes and embarrassment for years - decades really.

Lets not forget that - collusion or no collusion, election winning effect or not - Russians did do big things to influence the US Presidential election - AND, their man is President

always remember to ask why ------------- not, why not Clinton - but, why Trump? After all, if they could even think of getting Trump into power, they could have just as easily got some other Republican into power or some other Democrat besides Hilary.

One will never know what Putin does -- we will only ever see what he wants us to see - we need to respect him for that - he is one hell of a player.
