Long-term I believe this good for the industry.
Russian wheat is GMO free and like Australia it is highly contemplative without large scale subsidisation that exists in US and EU wheat production, which is largely a transfer of wealth from the taxpayer to the farmer.
Better Australia and Russia dominate the wheat trade as rivals and the US taxpayer and consumer can get a break without getting the GMO gut and paying through the nose for it.
