mm mmm from high school economics - watso still recalls that GDP is the value of all goods and services blah blah .. but how is that priced ..

the other day, watso posted a post which included the price of petrol in russia - which was a fraction of the american price ..

american gdp is a value which takes into account the price that americans pay for their petrol/gas and foodstuffs etc etc

the russians pay a lot less for the same items - so of course their gdp would be lower ..

(ok it has been a long time since watso studied economics at the post graduate level - so happy to be corrected - and watso is not remotely as smart as what he used to be ) ..
