Thought I'd add a little to this post for context and to ensure that no-one thinks this affects the projected U supply deficits post 2013.

In March 2011 USEC and Tenex agreed a deal for Tenex (Russians) to supply USEC with product to allow USEC to continue to supply its mainly US customers worldwide. The relevant section of the March agreement posted below...

USEC and TENEX signed the contract today in Washington, D.C. Under the terms of the contract, the supply of LEU to USEC will begin in 2013 and ramp up until it reaches a level in 2015 that is approximately one-half the level currently supplied by TENEX to USEC under the Megatons to Megawatts program with the mutual option to increase the quantities up to the same level as that program. Unlike the Megatons to Megawatts program, the quantities supplied under the new contract will come from Russia’s commercial enrichment activities rather than from downblending of excess Russian weapons material.

POINT TO MAKE IS THAT THIS REPLACES APPROXIMATELY ONLY A HALF OF THE SECONDARY SUPPLY THAT COMES IN FROM RUSSIA AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, WILL NOT COME FROM WEAPONS BUT FROM COMMERCIAL RESOURCES - INFERENCE IS THAT THE URANIUM WILL COME FROM PRIMARY(MINED) RESOURCES.
