China will be thinking hard about energy security and looking to have some stable options regarding energy security. It would be a pretty reckless move to entrust all of your eggs to a country on the verge of economic and political collapse for the sake of a cheap rate. If Russia are cut off they wont be able to give it away too cheap as it will be their major income stream, They still have to fuel the Beast and they will have many an Oligarch looking to restore their wealth. I would actually put a premium on a large energy reserve that is only only a small fence hop away, it will be looking very attractive to China IMO.
