Mmm a bit of strength shown this afternoon. Still down on yesterday's close but considering the volitility in the market and the lower oil prices ...
possibilities...
1. SW Queensland drilling announcement? BPT in partnership with drillsearch 38%. Perhaps something here. Announcement was categorized as "Price Sensitive" but was given out yesterday.
2. takeover? Possible I suppose (considering report). $376 million in cash reserves is going to be tempting for a suitor - especially taking over a company with only 18% D:E ratio. A takeover in these wider troubled times though?
3. BPT just tracked ASX today. Perhaps there is just growing positiveness re. US taxpayer bail out will kick start things along. Dunno. This is my reckoning for BPT sp today.
4. Perhaps important people are reading BPT hotcopper threads because they are just empty for ideas. The common people will bail out Wall Street ... and perhaps stockbrokers and finacial advisors now read hotcopper for some hot tips ... how frightning ... LOL ...LOL ...LOL
