I am all for peace occurring in Ukraine, the end of Putins invasion. For that to happen, at this stage, Putin has to withdraw his troops from Crimea, Donbas and other occupied territory. He has made it clear this is unacceptable to him. Your peace negotiations might enable a brief break from hostilities if they arrange a cease fire, besides that what will it achieve?. You think the parties will have a change of heart when they are seated round a table chatting? I cant see the Ukrainians backing down at this stage, they are mad, I dont blame them. Putin wont back down either, his life probably depends on him achieving some sort of victory here. IMO the Ukrainians have the moral high ground. The Russians are following orders, there heart isnt in the fight, they are the brutal invader of a fellow slav country. I would guess there will be some sort of resolution with in the next year.

Hmmmmm! I have said that I am going along with the view that the Uks are winning and will push the Russkies out of Ukr but no one will tell us when this is likely to occur. Nevertheless I have bought my popcorn to celebrate! Good Luck!!
