IMO Russia will ultimately take control of the coastal areas in Ukraine. They have the advantage of sea and air power to flank any Ukrainian forces that oppose a land invasion of the coastline. When Russia controls the Ukrainian ports then the country will economically collapse.

This should be easily accomplished will minimal casualties.

That's my guess anyway. Time will tell.
