Bakhmut, Watso??? They tell me "Bakhmut has not Fallen" - not yet anyway but is now surrounded and cut off - soooooo, "Bakhmut will fall". In this case we can then say "Bakhmut has Fallen".
Sooo, implications of "Bakhmut Has Fallen"??
In that event I do not think that the Uks can say they have won at anything in the last year but have - in fact - lost!
So, implications of losing??
They should have negotiated a peace deal a long time ago. The Russkies will likely say "NAH" if Zels tries to talk up a peace deal.
Why is that so, as Prof Julius Sumner Millar was fond of asking.
Answer I think is that they have been at it for so long and so much has been said that only an actual victory will dictate the terms - be it a Russkie victory or a Ukr victory! Soooooo, stock up on ze popcorn!
