I think your confused in that not everyone feels the need to do a Chinese style debt trap.

The West will fund the rebuild of the Ukraine, just as the US did post war Europe and Japan.

Look at the Marshall Plan beneficiaries in the below map and what is really obvious is since the 1950, how many countries have since fled the Soviet sphere of influence.





Looking at the countries with the most citizens residing in Russia, where are all the Poles, Bulgarians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians, East Germans, Czechs, Albanians, Yugoslavians (whoops), etc etc.

Surely they would know a good thing when they see it and should be charging across the border to live in Pootinville, even if its just to save themselves from freezing to death?

Or just maybe they know its a shitehole.
