I agree watso.
The verifiable facts are:
-Russian troops are still in control of at least 15 %
(the valuable 15%) of the Ukraine of which that and the
10% reclaimed by the Ukraine is Aleppo-like wastelands.
Add to that the loss of 10 mil citizens and & wrecked economy.
And posters on these threads reckon that the Ukraine is winning.?
A reasonable person would say: "not yet"
Russia sent a salient message yesterday to NATO in the form of hypersonic missiles :
If you attack Russian territory, then we'll "Hypersonic you".
It would be naive to think that Russia is not mass producing these Hypersonics
24/7 and as of yet, NATO does not have a deterrent.
So what is the answer?
IMO with current regime leaderships.....more of the same for at least 3 years
With a change of regime(s) then there is a hope of a Truce/settlement
Putin promised the ex-Israeli PM last year that he would not kill Velensky
but in war, can one believe what either leader says?
Perhaps Putin's life is at equal risk to that of Velensky's
