    The New York Times writes that after the start of the special operation, US airlines "lost the opportunity" to use the airspace of the Russian Federation, while carriers like Air India, Emirates and China Eastern Airlines continue to do so.

    The article notes that they have received an "unfair advantage" - they fly faster and cheaper between the United States and Asia, and also save fuel.

    Now American airlines have stepped up lobbyists and are demanding that the authorities force other carriers to "fly the same routes as their American competitors."
