When has a side winning a war, or who believe they will win a war, ever been the one to call for peace or a ceasefire?

When the allies stormed the beaches in France and then across the European continent were they the ones asking Hitler if he wanted a ceasefire and peace? Don't think so, cause that isn't what the winning side does.

The mental gymnastics that side needs to do to simply exclude that reality from their fantasies is quite interesting to watch.

Putin is winning so much that needs he needs a ceasefire and peace now.

The sanctions are so ineffectual they should be lifted.

The weapons the West are providing are doing nothing so they just stop supplying them.

For them up really is down.
