China has a GDP of 17 Trillion USD$ and Japan 5 trillion but per capita GDP in Japan is 40,000 US$ as against 12,000 US$ in China. Japans cash generation via tax therefore is far greater. Japan just doubled up its military spending that will take them to the third military budget of all. Besides, Japan has an advanced industrial base that can transform industrial mix in no time. China has expressed great concern over recent Japanese developments, another achievement of Vladimir Putin.
