Russia is basically a failed state.. yet this failed state now holds 25% of the territory it coveted..
so what are you suggesting ....allow that to remain in russian hands ? That should be Ukraines decision - big price to pay for sovereignty and freedom and they are the ones paying for it ....the ones to make the decision of when the cost in human life is too much . But I believe while they wish to fight for their own land the west should support them in that and better than they are now . They need something approaching weapons parity with russia and that should save lives in the long run by shrtening the war .
As to the former ...russia has shown what their motives were for invasion by the annexation ....not just Donbas but Kharkiv and Kherson as well ....no conjecture required .
Jesus said "by their fruits you shall know them " ....don't listen to what people say ....just watch what they do .
