But regardless, there will be societies that have robots and young people, and there'll be ageing societies that have robots and already-funded pension and aged care systems in place, so China is still at a comparative disadvantage.

So China's disadvantage isn't so much that it is a hyper-ageing society, it is that it is a rare example of a hyper-ageing society that is still stuck at middle income stage.
