    ...and putins excuse when Xi talked to him was "the west aren't ready for negotiations"
    if he liked Xi's plan he wouldn't have said that , would've been good PR to be making some effort to negotiate

    putin fails to realise what has changed in his relationship with Xi and he needs to be more polite to him and nore submissive
    Xi will pick his moment to teach putin that lesson
