So if Finland is to be a Nato member and spends 2% of their budget, are you saying it has the required resources to defend it's Russian borders? 2% is a relative number, the size of Germany gdp is not necessary the same as Finland's number.

Collective defense is a convenient excuse. The reality is that Nato members are not geared for a war footing with its military production, unlike Russia. It is already a fact that if UK is in Ukraine right now, it will run out of ammo in a week! Why are Nato members drip feeding Ukr with weaponry and why is the mug begging? Treat them mean to keep them keen?
