Yea. The West will always support the ‘rebels’ if it is in their strategic interest. Unfortunately, locals in Donbas, who were persecuted by their own government, were not strategically important.

Putin is the creation of the western foreign policy. From being in bed with the American presidents, to being the villain the West wants to destroy. Putin wanted Russia to be taken on equal terms, after they surrendered the grip on the Eastern Europe. Washington had other ideas. Here we are now. The last man standing, but the blood will not be shed from the White House or Kremlin.
