    I don't believe I commented on whether or not Bakhmut should or should not have been already evacced .

    But I do know why UAF are holding .
    1. Morale (both sides)
    2. keeps the russians tied up and not attacking elsewhere

    whether or not it's worth it I can't comment as I am neither an expert nor have all the info the generals have
