Fair enough but I don't think Marie Le Pen will back France's involvement with Ukraine and that's what counts. Whether or not she has links that will bind her in the way that Trump has had is beside the point. I think Putin had Trump by the short and curlies if you get my drift.

I think Le Pen is isolationist and scary. She is not something to be unafraid of. Macron has an over inflated sense of himself, he's a would-be Bonaparte and obviously trying to regain credibility domestically by trying to make a diplomatic coup. He's a bit of a clown on that score.
Le Pen is unpredictable and divisive. I still have her as a dangerous outsider. There has been a lot of foreign interference and that's a problem for all democratic nations. The role of China as an AI disruptor is not to be underestimated. They far exceed anything Putin's crowd have managed.
