    It doesn't tell you what's really happening on the ground for the residents in Russia.

    Each time there's a bit of inflation there, they feel the pinch harder than their western neighbours. But you won't get a proper figure because it's obscured and covered up by the Kremlin.

    Russians can't even complain or protest about the cost of living (like you see among their European neighbours - certainly not like in France) because they risk going to jail or murdered by those that "police" if they haven't already been forced to serve in the Army among Putin convicts. This was not the case up until 2-3 years ago. So civlised Russian society wants an end to Putin and his "Special (Military (?)) Operation" just as much as the rest of the world.
