NATO went in to break up a nation by encouraging and directly supporting communalist thugs and criminals that declared ethnic based statelets which immediately put millions of Yugoslavians on the "wrong" side of arbitrarily declared borders, who were then ethnically cleansed out of cities, towns and rural villages where they had lived for generations.
It was a deliberate US/German operation, completed with a 11 weeks NATPO bombing campaign.

Having succeeded in destroying the nation of Yugoslavia the same criminals in US an NATO have set their sights on Russia and China.
With far worse consequences for the entire world.
