Gaddafi wanted to break away from $$$. That’s why he got killed. Oil too, of course. Stop using US dollar for oil transactions = suicide.
Note that until the killing of Gaddafi and a destruction of Libya in the name of freedom: health , education, petrol ( almost), water were all free. How dare those dictators to treat their own people like that?
