One thing about old technology is that it’s flaws are well known.

However a tank is just a mobile artillery platform and I wouldn’t think that the Russians are mobilising their old stock to be their frontline attack units.

Those old tanks are not much chop against modern weapons but if the opposition forces happen to have supply line issues then these tanks are just as scary as their more modern counterparts.
