"Russia's attempt at an offensive in the Donbas largely through Bakhmut has failed," Kirby said. "Russia has been unable to seize any real strategic and significant territory."
He said the Russians have made some incremental gains in Bakhmut but that this has come at a "terrible, terrible cost" and that Ukraine's defences in the region remain strong.
Don't know what Kirby is smoking actually. He says the Russkies have been unable to seize any real strategic and significant territory.
OK so Bakhmut was held 100% by the Uks in Aug 2022 and now ze Russkies hold AT LEAST 90%. So how does Kirby explain that - just for starters.
I am actually staggered at the amount of rubbish we read (from all sides) on this war!!!!!!
