Don't know what Kirby is smoking actually. He says the Russkies have been unable to seize any real strategic and significant territory.

OK so Bakhmut was held 100% by the Uks in Aug 2022 and now ze Russkies hold AT LEAST 90%. So how does Kirby explain that - just for starters.
