It's the standard MO of Russian forces to simply bomb cities to rubble, like you said as they did in Chechnya, like they are doing in Syria still and like they do in Ukraine now. Hospitals, schools, supermarkets, train stations, anywhere civilians congregate is a Russian target. But you can't criticise Putin for that, it is the US' fault for civilians gathering in these places!
