Starting at the top , and beyond, to the influencers.

The terror attack on the kremlin opens up all sorts of opportunities -- there could be multiple attacks on many world leaders now and it may be difficult to know who the perps really are.

I don't know about everyone else, but this appears to be a dramatic escalation and most likely by a third party who really wants it to escalate, -- Britain, the US , extremists within the Ukrainian government , a contract let by arms manufacturers who want to sell more arms -- hard to rule anything out, even Russia itself but that would indicate desperation and I am not certain they are yet desperate though it must be getting uncomfortable by now.

But this is a watershed moment and only the zealots will want further escalation, along with a portion of the worlds population who are miserable enough to contemplate dragging everyone else along to keep them company while they look for ways to end it all.
